I See You . . .

. . . but I am. I'm going to be limiting my Buzznet use by a lot. It's just not what it used to be. And I can't keep up. So, I'm going to be deleting some things from my page and limiting my posting. I will still be taking part in the Buzznet photo assignments and post a photo every now and then. I'm very, very sad to say this but I will also be deleting some of my favorites. I really hate to do it but I just don't have the time to post comments on everyone's beautiful photos. I need to start spending time in bettering myself and not worry about being popular. I will also be dropping a lot of groups I'm a member of. Please don't be offended by this. There have been a lot of changes for me in my life - good ones - and I can't have this interfer with that.

Long story short, I have another Urinary Tract Infection. Yay! This is do to having too much sugar in my urine.

Here - I'll give you an non-photoshopped picture of me.

No one was hurt but the damage is intense. A lamp in my mother's spare bedroom, which she uses as a storage room, made the curtains catch on fire. Everything in the room was destroyed along with of other things in the house.

If I were to estimate how much moneys worth of stuff was lost, I would say about $30,000 and that's not including structural repair. I hope the insurance company acts fast on this.

Oh - and to top it all off when my mother called my brother and told him about the fire, he got so upset that he hit a pedestrian crossing the fucking street.

Also, my car broke down and I got my period. All this shit on the same day - FUCK-FUCK-FUCK!!!

Can I haz razor now? Ah, forget it. I'm stressed to the max. I'm going to go play Bingo on Myspace.

At a first glace, this looks like Preston but if you look a little longer you'll see that it's not Preston - or Stevie. This is a lost/abandoned cat Edward and I found outside our apartment building. The cat is very thin around the stomach area but she's very kind and gentle. At first we thought maybe we could foster her back to health but Preston and Stevie absolutely hate this cat and the cat hates them. I tried calling around to different Vets and shelters but have had no luck. I feel so sad right now because I don't know what to do. Eventually, I took the cat back outside but it came right back in, which gave me a temporary idea. I decided to put the cat outside in the hallway with a bowl of food and water and a liter box until tomorrow. I'm sure the SPCA can at least check to see if it was lost. I really do hope so. She really is a sweetie.

I love the days after Christmas just as much and the days before. Why? Because that's when I get to buy all the things I wanted myself! Oh, I can't wait! I'm getting . . .


1. A red T-Fal cookware set.




2. A stainless steel microwave with a handle (as opposed to a stupid button whose spring keeps breaking).




3. A black xmas tree. I've been dying for one of these since I saw it in the stores. Next year, it's going to be a totally different xmas up in this joint!





4. A paint-by-numbers set. I used to do these all the time up until I had Kenneth and I really miss it.





5. The ultimate! I'm going to have to wait until the summer to get this but this is what I really, really, really want!

A co-worker sent this to me via email and I just knew that I had to share it with all of you fine folks. Enjoy!

As many of you already know, my husband and I rescued two little kittens last weekend. We've been searching like crazy for someone to take them with no luck what so ever. We were not able to keep them because pets are not allowed in our apartment building. As the week went by, we grew very attached to them and to make a long short, we decided to start looking for another place to live where cat were allowed and we found one! In the middle of November we'll be moving into a new apartment with our two new babies, Preston and Stevie!

Since I've been partcially laid off, I've been trying to find ways to keep myself busy.

I clean,
I clean,
and I clean.

I also do run all my errands during the week as opposed to the weekend. Since I don't drive, I do it all on foot. I go to the post office, the do my groceries and I do my odds and ends shopping at Walmart. I also have Kenneth at home with me for the summer and I work on Tuesdays and Fridays for 6.5 hours each day. And even though all these things keep me busy, I still tend to get a bit restless.

This morning when I wokeup, I just didn't want to get out of bed and do anything. There's only so much cleaning and laundry I can do. I don't have much money to go shopping and I didn't feel like watching cartoons today. So, Kenneth and I went for a walk. We left this morning at 10am and walked downtown. First, we stopped at the 5 and 10 store and I bought some ice cube trays, index cards and 3 pieces of $.02 candy. Then, we sat outside in the shade to cool off. I wanted to get up right away and get going when Kenneth looked at me and said, "Mommy - let's just relax". You know, for someone who has special needs, he sure is wise. So, I sat back down, and did just that. I relaxed. It felt pretty good. After that, we went down a little further and stopped at the local hobby shop to look at some trains. That's Kenneth's favorite thing to do. They have a Thomas the Train setup inside where kids can play. Next, we did something that I haven't gotten the chance to do in years - I browsed though a few antique shops. I had so much fun doing that. It didn't even bother me that I was exhausted, sweating or hungry. I took quite a few pictures that I can't wait to post. Here's one of them:


After my batteries died, I realized it was time for lunch so we went to our favorite pizza restaurant. I had a chicken salad and Kenneth had pizza. Dude, if you're ever in Quakertown, Pennsylvania, Dominak's is the place for pizza! Afterwards, Kenneth wanted an icy so of course I complied. Finally, we treked home. We got back at about 1pm.

I must say that I really had a great time and I'm glad that the weather was decent enough for us to get out for a bit. It's past 5pm and I'm still very tired. I need to get out more.

Tomorrow, we go visit my mother. It's supposed to rain but that's okay. There's always Monday.

A guy walked into a pool hall with a monkey. The monkey immediatly jumped up on the pool table and swallowed the cue ball.

The pool hall owner said, "Look what your monkey has done, now no one can play pool. Get him out of here."

Two weeks later the guy comes in with the monkey again. There were snacks set up on the counter. The monkey jumped up on the counter grabbed a big green olive, pushed it in and out where the sun don't shine, and then he ate it.

This upset the pool hall owner and he said, "Now look what your monkey has done. Why did he do that ?"

The guy said, "Ever since he ate that cue ball, before he eats anything, he measures it."

~Dusting EVERYTHING
~Doing 2 loads of laundry (1 more to go)

~Scubbing the shower
~Cleaning the stove

Then,
~Visited with my mom, who came to visit me
~When to Kohl's (they were having a super duper sale - got 2 shirts for $8)
~When to Walmart (spent $70)
~When to Goodwill (yes, I shop at Goodwill - got a neat hat and a pair of really cool boots along with 2 skirts, 2 pairs of pants
                              and a blouse for $28)

After I got home,
~Mom left
~Went with Edward and Kenneth to the carwash and detailed the interior of our car, which needed it really bad
~Put away laundry
~Made myself a cup of coffee

Now it's almost 10pm and my ass is beat! I will comment on everyone's posts tomorrow. Right now, I gotta chill. Hope everyone's having a good weekend. Take care.

Woah . . .

I can't believe I actually cried during the end of LOST tonight. I finally got what was going on in the last 2 minutes of the show. Oh my! The last time I did that was a few years ago during an episode of CSI.

Btw, I knew it was Michael on the boat all along. If you didn't, you're cracked!

I'm so sick! I feel like I'm coughing up a lung, my thoat is sore and now I'm sneezing like crazy. And to top it all off, I'm at work.

. . . in Philadelphia :)

Edward, Kenneth and I decided to go for a drive so we went to Philadelphia. My main goal was to scope out the Electric Factory, where MCR will be playing in May.


After that we took a drive all over, I took massive amounts of pictures and got extremely lost. No worries, though. Edward knows how to find his way home.

Btw, get this - every single picture I took was taken while the car was in motion! We didn't stop once for a shot! I think I did pretty good. I can't wait to post the photos this week!
