I See You . . .

As some of you already know, at least those of you who have me as a friend, I was supposed to go to see MCR in Allentown but the show was cancelled due to Bob’s injury. At first I was really sad but now, I’m cool. It just so happens that that night I came on Buzznet to vent a little and also to receive some kind words and had a really nice chat with a person who not only saw MCR in concert but got to meet them briefly and even got to take a couple of pictures of them (they’re on her page). What really interested me was that the show she went to the England’s Reading Festival, which was the one that My Chemical Romance was bottled. Half way through our chat I realized that it was more like giving an interview so I asked her if I can post our conversation as a Journal and she gave me the go. So here it is. millieann282000 - Well, I was supposed to go to the MCR Concert tonight but because of Bob's illness, the show was cancelled along with the one in New York and most likely the MTV$2 Bill show but that one hasn't been confirmed (for the record, it wasn’t as we all know). Me sad but not because the show was cancelled. It's because Bob is not well. He will be in my prayers along with the rest of the band. Drop me a note to make me feel better please?

 gfc1983 - Hey there!! I feel so sad for you not being able to see them tonight and also for Bob being ill! I think it’s so good of them not to play with another drummer! I love those guys! They did say they were gonna make it up to the fans as soon as they could! I really hope they come back over here to the UK when Bob is better! (and what do you know, she got tickets to see them this November 12th - lucky bitch - bitch with love♥)

 gfc1983 - Yep my name is Karen. Nah I didn’t have to get tickets. I queued up for 3 hours when they were playing at the Reading gig. I was so nervous meeting them. I actually got a hug and kiss from Gerard!! I still cant believe it!

 gfc1983 - Yeah - man that was awful. I almost had to walk away because I couldn’t bear to watch them get so abused but I thought fuck it I’m not gonna let them lame ass losers win so I got right to the front and had the time of my life!

 millieann282000 - Did the audience boo the whole time or did they warm up to them and why were they booing? Why go to a show if your gonna boo and be mean? Go to shows are supposed to be fun.

 gfc1983 - Well before they came on everyone was waving bottles about then when they came on everyone was throwing bottles and god knows what else. The crowd seemed to stop throwing bottles for a bit but I dunno if that was just because they ran out of bottles! I’m not sure why they were booed - at the Leeds festival everyone loved them! I get so annoyed, if you don’t like MCR then there were plenty of other bands playing at the same time so why not go and watch them!

 millieann282000 - I agree, Karen. Why bother? It kinda sounds like they rained (spelled wrong) victorious in the end though. What do you think? Wow - this kinda sounds like an interview. Gives me idea for Journal. (and so here it is)

 gfc1983 - Yeah your right this is a bit like an interview, I like it! hehe! they definitely did come out on top after Reading. They could of easily walked off or bitched at the crowd but they didn’t. They played their hearts out!! One of the best shows I have seen them play actually!

 millieann282000 - That’s wonderful, Karen. Is there anyone else that you're looking forward to seeing in concert? I'm kinda interested in seeing Tori Amos if she ever comes to Philly again. Do you like Tori Amos or even know who she is? She's my favorite singer of all time. (okay, a little off topic but we were chatting)

 gfc1983 - Yeah Tori Amos sang cornflake girl right? I love that song! One of my other favorite groups are the Goo Goo Dolls, I have seen them twice already and I’m going again next month! I wish I could of seen people like the Beatles, queen, Elvis. they would of been amazing to see live! would love to see Sarah McLaughlin live, she has an amazing voice! what about you?

 millieann282000 - LOL!!! I saw Sarah McLaughlin last year in concert! She is an amazing singer! What's your favorite Sarah song? And by the way, what's your favorite MCR song? My favorite Sarah song always changes - I think right now it's Ice. My favorite MCR song is always changing. I think I love Desert Song right know. It's kinda fitting right now, ya know? ". . . from backstage to the doctor . . ." Tag! Your it.

 gfc1983 - From the earth to the morgue....... hmm my fav Sarah and MCR song!? That’s tough. I think my fav Sarah song is either Angel, I Will Remember You or Sweet Surrender. That’s amazing that you saw her though! Not really sure if she tours over here! My fav MCR song? I know everyone says it but there are soooo many good songs in fact I don’t think there is one I don’t like! Some of my favs are Skylines, Headfirst, Monroeville, Prison, I Never Told You, etc. and Helena because that song literally saved my life one night and for that I will be forever grateful to MCR!

 millieann282000 - I understand what you mean. I love all MCR songs. Tomorrow it'll be another song. That's okay - I love it all!!! Who's your favorite MCR God? If it's Gerard, that's okay, mine too - pick a second favorite. My second favorite is Ray and I pick Ray because he's Puerto Rican and so am I. We even have the same hairstyle - lol. Plus he's very humble. I like that.

 gfc1983 - Well, my favorite is Gerard not just because he is the sexiest man alive but because he gives sooo much in his performances you know? My second favorite is Bob just because I love the drums and Bob is one hell of a drummer! Think I’m gonna make a move from sitting in front of my computer! It’s getting mighty late over here now!
