I See You . . .

"How do I get pictures in my background?" This question is coming up an awful lot so I’ve decided to put up a Journal with the instructions. Now, there are many different sites you can go to for this but I like http://www.strikefile.com/myspace because it’s easy.

Step 1:

Find a picture you want to put in your background. You can make one if you want to, like a collage. That’s mainly what I do. Don’t forget to save it as a jpeg image file. Let's use this one as an example:

After you have your picture upload it into a photobucket.com account. If you don’t have one, sign up for one. It’s free.

Make sure your photobucket image is the right size that you want. You can resize your image by doing this:

Click on 'edit'

Now it's time to resize your image to the size you want. I chose thumbnail size:


Now, three different codes generate when you upload photo. Please keep in mind that after you’ve uploaded your image if you move or delete it, your background will no longer be any good. You will need the URL Link for your background:


Step 2:

Now go to http://www.strikefile.com/myspace
Just follow the instructions that you see. Here are some pointers:

- Don't forget to tile your picture the way you want:


- If you decide to change your font, please choose a nice font that everyone can read. Comic Sans MS is a good one.

After you've generated your code, copy it. Now you're ready to put it in your Buzznet Page.

Step 3:

Sign In to your Buzznet Page.

Click on 'Settings' on the upper right-hand side of your page:


Next, Click on 'Change Your Color Scheme':


Scroll to the bottom until you see the 'Custom Stylesheet' Box and paste your code for your background there:


DON'T FORGET TO CLICK SAVE!


DONE!

A couple of really good friends on myspace sent this to me. So rather than bother everyone with a bunch of annoying messages, I just decided to post it here. These are my answers.

22. What color eyes do you have? - Dark Brown

23. Ever been arrested? - no but my hubby has. Long story.

24. Shoe size? (heh heh) - 7 wide.

25. If you won $10,000 dollars today, what would you do with it? I'd buy a ticket for every single motherfucking MCR show for the rest of their tour!

26. What kind of bubble gum do you prefer to chew? - as long as it's sugar free, I'm good.

27. What's your favorite bar to hang at? (doesn't really have to be a bar) - Don't drink.

28. Do you believe in ghosts? - yes.

29. Favorite thing to do in your spare time? Exactly what I'm doing right know.

31. Biggest pet peeve? - Forum regard Gee and his 'girlfriend' or 'wife' or 'fiance' - none of that is any of our business. Don't waste other peoples time with rumors.

32. In one word, how would you describe yourself? - anxious.

I don't know what the Hell is going on around here. All of the sudden, us older MCR fans aren't worthy? I've been getting some hate notes and comments and so have many of my older friends here on Buzznet from young people who have no class. Please, everyone. If you don't like me, you don't have to except me. Just ignore me and leave me alone. Just know that I love MCR with all my heart. I am one of the Top Three Contributors in the MCR Community. This is my happy place. Don't ruin it for me. My block list is getting just as big as my friends list. This sucks! I love and respect all of my friends. I'm even considered 'Buzznet's Unofficial Mommy' to many and you know what? I'm flattered by it and I embrace it with all my heart. I'm not mean. I'm not malicious (sorry if I posted your pictures without permission - it was an accident. Let me know, please). Does it really make you feel good to make people like me feel like shit? Come on . . .
